Crema Nova
Crema Nova is one of the most widely traded beige marbles in Türkiye. It is quarried in the Bilecik region and known abroad under half a dozen names: Crema Nuova, Crema Nuevo, New Cream, Royal Beige, Bilecik Crema Nova. The ground is a warm, even cream, broken by fine fossil markings, pale branching veins and scattered shell fragments. Its drawing comes from what once lived in it. A fossiliferous limestone-marble carries the record of a seabed, and up close the surface is full of small, precise detail. It is the beige that furnishes everything: floors, walls, stairs, sills, columns, courtyards. Generous more than showy, and at home in a traditional detail as much as in a modern one.
