Golden Tobacco

Golden Tobacco takes its name from the colour of cured tobacco leaf, and the name is exact. The ground is a warm amber-honey that shifts between light gold and deep caramel across the slab. Fine darker veins trace over it, and pale crystalline patches open wherever the stone recrystallised. The amber runs deep enough that the surface reads as lit even in a room with no daylight. The colour does the work a lamp would. One golden surface changes the temperature of everything around it. That is why Golden Tobacco arrives as a reception desk, a bar front, a fireplace or a vanity top.
