Verde Levanto

Angular fragments of deep forest and petroleum green sit locked in a darker matrix, and a bright white vein network runs across the whole slab, outlining every fragment. Some blocks carry cherry-red and burgundy between the greens. Verde Levanto is a green marble breccia from the Elazığ region, known in the trade equally as Breccia Antique and Verde Antico. The contrast is high and no two blocks are alike. One block is enough to set the character of a room. It has always been a stone for the important object: a fireplace, a column, a reception counter, a tabletop, the inlay in a floor that everything else is arranged around.
